Propagation checker
Is my DNS change live yet?
We ask six public DNS at once, so you can see who already has your new value — and how long until the rest catch up.
Why do resolvers show different answers?
Each resolver remembers answers for a while (the TTL) to stay fast. After you change a record, some still serve the old value until their copy expires.
How long does propagation take?
Usually minutes, at most the record’s previous TTL — often 1 hour, sometimes up to a day. You can’t speed up other resolvers, but lowering the TTL before a change helps next time.
My own computer still shows the old site. Why?
Your device and browser cache DNS too. Try a private window, another network (like mobile data), or wait a few minutes.
